About Course

The American Heart Association’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of high-performance teams. The 2025 ACLS course reflects the new 2025 science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Which course is right for me?

ACLS or ACLS for Experienced Providers

ACLS:

  • For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiac arrest, stroke, or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, critical care/intensive care, and surgery such as Physicians, Nurses, and Paramedics, as well as others who need an ACLS course completion card for a job or other requirement.

Is AHA ACLS certification recognised in UAE hospitals?
Yes. Our ACLS course follows American Heart Association guidelines and the ACLS Provider card is accepted by hospitals and regulators across the UAE, including DOH (Abu Dhabi), DHA (Dubai) and MOH licensing requirements.
How long is the AHA ACLS course?
The classroom ACLS provider course in Abu Dhabi runs over two days and includes airway management, pharmacology, rhythm recognition and megacode simulation practice. A current BLS provider card and the ACLS pre-course assessment are recommended before attending.
Who should attend ACLS?
Physicians, emergency and ICU nurses, anesthesia staff, paramedics and other healthcare professionals who respond to cardiovascular emergencies. ACLS renewal candidates are welcome — the same course renews an expiring card.
Where does the training take place?
Our training centre is at Addax Office Tower, Office 1105, Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. We also run on-site group training for hospitals, clinics, schools and companies in Al Ain, Dubai and across the UAE.
