About Course: 

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed to meet the regulatory 
requirements for child care workers in all 50 U.S. states. It teaches child care providers and 
others to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until 
professional help arrives.
The course covers child/infant CPR, child/infant AED, child/infant choking, and pediatric first 
aid. Adult modules in CPR, AED and choking are optional.
Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills demonstration and a CPR 
and AED skills test, students receive a Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course completion 
card, valid for two years.

Who should take the Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course?
School teachers, nursery and daycare staff, nannies, babysitters, parents and caregivers — anyone responsible for the safety of infants and children. No medical background is required.
What does the course cover?
Pediatric first aid basics, infant and child CPR, AED use, choking relief, and how to manage common childhood emergencies until professional help arrives. Your AHA Heartsaver card is usually issued the same day.
Where does the training take place?
Our training centre is at Addax Office Tower, Office 1105, Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. We also run on-site group training for hospitals, clinics, schools and companies in Al Ain, Dubai and across the UAE.
